Creating Knowledge & Value for the
Pulp & Paper Industry
The Center for Paper Business and Industry Studies (CPBIS), in
partnership with the Institute of Paper Science and Technology at
Georgia Tech (IPST@GT), is co-hosting in 2004 and 2005, a lecture
series by distinguished academic and industry leaders focusing on
business and business processes and research and
technology/innovation issues of the forest products Industry.
This Distinguished Lecture Series has been created in response
to growing demand by industry, academic, and related business
leaders around the globe. Topics will include globalization,
innovation and change management, and workplace performance.
An Interactive Learning Program
To accommodate this growing industry interest, the Distinguished
Lecture Series presentations is offered both live (in Atlanta,
Georgia, at the IPST@GT facilities) and by
"live-internet-streaming." This Web-based data streaming allows
those unable to attend in person the ability to experience the
entire program either live or at a more convenient time by viewing

The lecture series comprises three presentations, from 11am to
