Mission and Goals

• To establish diverse, in-depth continuing education programs tailored to meet explicitly defined needs of the paper industry for enhanced management success. CPBIS will develop and offer programs that build, develop, and enhance managerial, leadership, and soft skills of paper industry personnel at the following levels:

  • Executive (corporate managers and staff);
    
  • Management (division executives and staff);
    
  • Operations management (mill managers and staff);
    
  • Supervisory leadership (department and production floor managers, supervisors, engineers, and staff); and
    
  • Production and hourly workers and staff.
    
    

• Collaborate with the industry, various continuing education providers and distance learning technology providers to develop and implement an industry-wide Continuing Education strategy that will cost-effectively provide the needed knowledge and skill base at all levels of the work force and thereby significantly improve the financial performance of the industry.
