General Background

Jacquelyn is currently Executive Director of CPBIS (a Sloan
Foundation Industry Center hosted by Georgia Tech), and formerly
President and CEO of Jaakko Poyry Consulting North America.
She also serves ForestWeb, Inc. as its Senior Advisor and Head,
Board of Advisors and is on the Board of Directors for the Paper
Industry Management Association (PIMA) and the Governing Board of
Directors for the World Forestry Center. Jacquelyn runs her
own Management Consulting business -- Degrees of Excellence and is
affiliated with North Carolina State University as an Executive in
Residence.
She has a comprehensive educational background, which includes a
B.S. in Industrial Engineering, a joint MBA/M.S. in Managerial
Sciences and Forestry and a Ph.D. in Forest Managerial Science.
Jacquelyn has extensive international forest products management,
marketing, business development and consulting experience. During
her most recent ten-year leadership role at Jaakko Pöyry
Consulting, she focused on guiding the delivery of the firm's
multifaceted service platform to clients around the world.
She also previously served in executive positions at
Georgia-Pacific/ Great Northern Nekoosa, Jefferson Smurfit/
Container Corporation of America, and Potlatch, as well as in
forest products and management sciences related academic positions
at the University of Washington and Oregon State University.
In her thirty-five-year career, her aggregate experiences include
positions as a researcher; faculty member; and university
department head, as well as senior management assignments for major
integrated forest products enterprises covering line/staff
management; strategic/capital planning and business
investment/development. Jacquelyn's product line background covers
all paper and wood products grades and fiber and timberland. Her
geographic work expertise is also broad, including experience in
North America, Latin America, Europe, Oceania, and
Asia-Pacific.
