Dr. Arthur Ragauskas is a professor of Wood Chemistry. He Played a key role in developing the Wood Chemistry group at the Institute of Paper Science and Technology into an internationally recognized teaching and research group. Research and teaching expertise in wood chemistry, pulping, bleaching and fiber chemistry and a special emphasis on the application of biotechnology in the forest product industry. Awarded and managed $5.5 million in research funding over the past 10 years from industry, state, and federal funding agencies. Research results published in nationally and internationally recognized research journals.
